50W/100W 2500-4000MHz SDR Power Amplifier
PA+Signal Generator

50W/100W 2500-4000MHz SDR Power Amplifier

This integrated 2500-4000MHz SDR PA module provides 50~60W saturated output with ±2dB gain flatness. It supports four modulation waveforms including white noise, comb spectrum, OFDM and LFM, and adjusts frequency and bandwidth remotely via RS422 serial port. With 24~32V wide voltage input and auto thermal shutdown at 85℃, it is compact for RF jamming and wideband signal simulation tests.

    This 2500-4000MHz all-in-one SDR RF module integrates a built-in signal generator and 50W power amplifier channel, delivering 50~60W saturated output power with ±2dB gain flatness and standard 50Ω output impedance matching.

    It accepts wide DC supply voltage from 24 to 32V (nominal 28V), drawing typical 8A current at full 50W output with 35% power added efficiency. It achieves harmonic rejection ≤-12dBc at 50W output and spurious suppression ≤-40dBc under saturation, and continuously withstands 3:1 full-phase load VSWR. Equipped with RS422 asynchronous serial control at 115200 baud rate, it supports four modulation waveforms: white noise, comb spectrum, OFDM and LFM, with configurable center frequency and five bandwidth options (10/20/50/100/200MHz). Intelligent thermal protection automatically shuts down the module at 85℃±5℃. It features SMA female RF input, N-type female RF output and a shared D-Sub7W2 mixed connector for power and communication. Measuring 170×94×26.5mm and weighing 1.5kg, it operates stably from -30℃ to +55℃ and is widely deployed in RF jamming, EMC testing and wideband RF signal simulation systems.

    Communication Protocol

    This board uses an RS422 asynchronous serial communication interface, with a baud rate of 115200, 8-bit no parity, and data is transmitted in hexadecimal format. There is only one command: the parameter control command.

    Parameter Control Command:

    Send: 7E 7E 01 00 08 a1 a2 …a8 0A 0D

    Description: 7E 7E: Represents the frame header, fixed as 7E 7E.

    01: Represents the command type, where 01 indicates this instruction is a parameter control command.

    00 08: Byte length of the data area, this instruction has a total of 8 bytes from a1 to a8, so fill in 0008 here.

    Data area a1~a8 description:

    a1: Signal modulation type, 0: white noise, 1: comb spectrum, 2: OFDM, 3: LFM;

    a2~a3: Center frequency of the noise signal, expressed as a 16-bit hexadecimal unsigned number. For example, to set the center frequency to 1000 MHz, fill in 0x03E8 here;

    a4: Noise signal bandwidth control, represented by an 8-bit hexadecimal unsigned number.

    0: 10M; 1: 20M; 2: 50M; 3: 100M; 4: 200M;

    a5~a8: Reserved, all fixed filled with 0x00;

    0A 0D: Indicates the frame tail, fixed as 0A 0D.

    After this parameter control command is issued, if the product correctly receives and successfully executes it, it will return a control success feedback command: 7E 7E 01 00 01 FF 0A 0D. If this feedback or any other feedback is not received, it indicates that this control command has failed.

    Example 1: Set the product modulation mode to white noise, with the noise signal center frequency at 1500MHz and signal bandwidth at 200MHz. The host sends: 7E 7E 01 00 08 00 05 DC 03 00 00 00 00 0A 0D. If the control is successful, the product returns: 7E 7E 01 00 01 FF 0A 0D.

    Example 2: Set the product modulation mode to comb spectrum, with the noise signal center frequency at 2000MHz and signal bandwidth at 100MHz. The host sends: 7E 7E 01 00 08 00 07 D0 01 00 00 00 00 0A 0D. If the control is successful, the product returns: 7E 7E 01 00 01 FF 0A 0D.

    Default Parameters

    After powering on the board, it will by default output one signal:

    Signal modulation mode: white noise mode;

    Signal output center frequency: 2500 MHz;

    Signal output bandwidth: 100 MHz;
