2G/3G/4G Integrated Vehicle-mounted Mobile Terminal Acquisition and Positioning System

An IMSI catcher, also known as a rogue cell tower, is a surveillance device that mimics a legitimate mobile network operator's cell tower to intercept and track mobile phones within its range. By exploiting vulnerabilities in cellular protocols (e.g., 2G/3G/4G), it forces nearby devices to connect to it, allowing the capture of International Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI) numbers—unique identifiers tied to SIM cards. This enables unauthorized tracking of users' locations, call metadata, and in some cases, interception of communications. An IMSI catcher finds diverse applications across legal and technical domains.

A IMSI catcher is a surveillance tool designed to intercept cell phone traffic by impersonating a legitimate cell tower. When a mobile device connects to a nearby fake tower, the IMSI catcher can collect sensitive information such as the IMSI (International Mobile Subscriber Identity) and IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity). Law enforcement, intelligence agencies, and security personnel often use these devices for tracking and surveillance purposes. A  IMSI catcher can monitor mobile devices in real time, allowing for location tracking, call interception, and data collection, often without the user's knowledge. In law enforcement, it is deployed to track suspects’real-time locations via their IMSI/IMEI identifiers, monitor crowds during large-scale events like protests or sports games, and gather call metadata for investigations, often under judicial authorization. Intelligence and military agencies leverage it for reconnaissance in conflict zones, identifying enemy communications or intercepting unencrypted 2G traffic to extract tactical data. In cybersecurity, telecom operators and researchers use IMSI catchers ethically to audit network vulnerabilities, simulate attacks in red-team exercises, or test defenses against cellular exploits. Border authorities may deploy them to detect unauthorized cross-border mobile activity.

    Features:

1.IMSI/IMEI Harvesting: Captures International Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI) and International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) numbers during device registration, enabling precise tracking of users and devices.

2.Base Station Spoofing: The IMSI catcher mimics legitimate cellular base stations by broadcasting signals (e.g., frequency bands, PLMN codes) to deceive nearby mobile devices into connecting to it instead of authentic network infrastructure.

3.Signal Overpowering: It transmits stronger signals than nearby legitimate towers, forcing devices to prioritize its connection and ensuring continuous data transmission.
